I guess it just means that it is time for reflection, to slow down a bit, and make some goals. For 2012, it is my goal for 2012 to take in the small stuff, take time every week to reflect, and have lots of fun with my boys of course.
Here is a quick run down of the last two months....
- We went to Colorado for Thanksgiving!
It was so much fun to see the cousins play together, warms my heart! I remember playing with all of them when they were Raivis' age... how in the world did they get so big?
We went to the holiday parade here in Richmond, went to the James Center downtown to catch the lights, did the tacky light tour of Richmond, went to Christmas parties, shopped a lot, and of course went to see Santa.
- We went to Charleston, South Carolina for a weekend get away. We celebrated Nik's successful completion of the first half of his 2nd year in med school.
Charleston was awesome! It is a great city. While we were there, we went to the ocean, saw water front park (with the famous pineapple fountain), ate fresh pralines, and went to the aquarium.
- Had a wonderful Christmas visit with Grandpa Erik and Grandma Lori.
We had so much fun visiting and showing off our Richmond home. Raivis got to go to his first movie at the theater, he went fishing for his first time (and caught a fish!), and had a blast playing and laughing with Grandpa Erik and Grandma Lori.
- And Nik jumped back into the school routine.
With that, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We can't wait for all the fun things 2012 has in store for us!
