This kid can make me: smile, cry, laugh, crazy, proud, frustrated, impressed, amazed, overwhelmed, overjoyed, scramble, stumped, excited, scared, learn, teach, grow, stand still, run, and love more then I could ever imagine. All of that and more... in about 5 minutes.
Before him, I thought that parenthood was about what you taught your kids.
I was wrong, parenthood is about what your kids teach you.
Yesterday, we celebrated this monkey's fourth birthday.
All I have to say is WOW. I so don't deserve him but I am so so so so lucky, blessed, fortunate, amazed, proud, humbled that he calls me "Mamma".
The last four years have flown by and I cannot wait for all of the adventures, snuggles, giggles, lessons, and love that are yet to be.
